"THE UNFORGIVING PAIN" 

hate is instituted by
the darkness inside
reaching out and taking me
leaving me at the breaking point
with nothing to grasp 
and nothing to hold onto
but the endless darkness within...

ensnared by this evil within
I bare all the sin
from a past that enslaves me
a shadow of today
and every tomorrow
and it never goes away

steaming, boiling
pressing, pushing
forcing its way to the surface
for this long awaited attack
ripping, tearing
burning, searing
here's the rest
the unforgiving pain

what's lying deep inside
are these secrets bottled deep inside
secrets I no longer have to hide
once a light over me and now a shadow
its what I am meant to be

ensnared by the evil within
